I miss your fingers tangled in my hair, and starry nights.
I miss your teeth and your little-boy smile.
I miss my legs wrapped around your back and laughing against your throat.
I miss you in my mouth and in my hands and in my life.
You fall and I follow.
You're distant and I swallow.
Pride, and love, and more.
You wait and I wonder.
At the timidity of a life lived in want.
