leftunspoken's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If I had a garden and steakhouses delivered I might be a recluse

I spent the weekend: at the library, lying on nine pillows on the couch reading books borrowed from the library, goin to see X2, swimmin at the pool, and nappin on the deck so the sun could dry my bikini and my skin.

I've decided that weekends spent by myself are quite nice. (Not always, mind you; sometimes a girl needs company.)

Don't think I'd have seen anyone this weekend if my desire for mint in my tea hadn't driven me to my folks house to raid the garden.

My own company is actually much nicer than having to smile sweetly while positively miserable in the presence of ill-mannered friends of friends or hopelessly useless men.

Might have to depart briefly from self-imposed seclusion and agree to a date soon though, as I'm beginning to crave a big juicy steak.
